Aboveground storage tanks built and repaired to API 650 and API 653, with the foundation work done by the same crews.
At a glance
A tank is a long-lived asset with a regulated inspection history. We build them to the standard and repair them to the inspection report.
Tesecon fabricates and erects aboveground storage tanks to API 650 and performs repair and alteration to API 653, working from the owner's inspection findings and to third-party inspection. A typical tank runs 20 ft in diameter by 30 ft tall; the largest we have erected is 40 ft by 40 ft. Our focus is small and mid-sized tanks where one contractor can handle the ringwall, the erection and the repair scope together.
Repair work covers floor and annular plate replacement, shell course repair, roof work and nozzle modification, executed against an inspection report rather than a guess and planned around the tank's out-of-service window.
New aboveground tank fabrication and erection to the standard, up to 40 ft diameter and 40 ft tall.
Repair and alteration of in-service tanks, working from the owner's inspection report and to third-party inspection.
Bottom and annular plate replacement, planned around the out-of-service window.
Course repair, roof replacement and appurtenance modification.
Ringwalls and slabs self-performed alongside erection.
Civil, erection and repair under one contract, so the foundation is built to the tolerance the tank actually needs.
