Code repairs and alterations to pressure vessels under our ASME R stamp, backed by a Mobile shop that rolls, forms and fabricates to 15 feet in diameter.
At a glance
Shop conditions produce better welds than a lay-down yard. We build as much of the vessel as the shipping envelope allows before it leaves.
Tesecon performs code repairs and alterations to pressure vessels under our ASME R Certificate of Authorization, registered with the National Board as NB 6901 — separators, accumulators, knockout drums and jacketed vessels among them. The shop rolls plate up to 3/4 in. thick and handles vessels up to 15 ft in diameter and 40 ft long, shipping at up to 100,000 lb.
We have also held ASME U and S certificates and fabricated new code vessels and power boilers under them. Those certificates are not currently active, but the shop, the written procedures and the qualified crews behind that work are. We build from customer-supplied drawings or work alongside the client's engineer through design review, material procurement, forming, welding, examination and hydrotest, with the quality program audited annually by a third-party Authorized Inspector.

New Section VIII vessels and power boilers built under our ASME U and S certificates in the past. Those certificates are not active today; the shop capacity and qualified crews remain.
