Foundations, containment and site preparation - the civil scope that has to be right before any steel goes up.
At a glance
Equipment sets on what we pour. Elevation, anchor bolt placement and cure time are not details you fix later.
Tesecon self-performs civil concrete and site work: equipment foundations, pump pads, tank ringwalls, containment dikes and liners, trenching and grading. Because the same contractor also sets the steel and the equipment, anchor bolt patterns get checked against the actual fabricated base plates rather than against a drawing revision.
Our own crews handle excavation, forming, rebar placement, placement and finishing, and backfill. A typical project runs 200 to 300 cubic yards, and we have self-performed pours up to 1,000 yards. Ready-mix concrete is supplied to the site, and survey control is set by a licensed surveyor.
Pads and piers set to elevation, with anchor bolts templated to the equipment actually being installed.
Ringwall and slab foundations for storage tanks, coordinated with the tank erection scope.
Dikes, curbing and lined containment areas, with liner installation self-performed.
Site preparation, trenching, backfill and compaction.
Reinforcement placement and formwork built to the structural drawings.
Civil scheduled against the steel and equipment plan, so foundations cure before the crane arrives.
Send us drawings or a scope of work and we’ll get you a number.
