An industrial contractor serving the Southeast since 1987, self-performing fabrication and construction from a home base in Mobile, Alabama.
Tesecon was founded in 1987 specializing in industrial construction and maintenance. The scope has not drifted far since.
From our shop in Mobile, Alabama — 12,000 square feet of fabrication space across two buildings, with three acres of laydown — a crew of about 100 serves refineries, chemical plants, pulp and paper mills, oil and gas, energy and manufacturing facilities across the Southeast. We are licensed in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida, with reciprocity available in neighboring states, and our work includes past government contracting and ongoing support for aerospace manufacturing here in Mobile.
What sets the work apart is how much of it we self-perform. Welding and pipefitting, civil concrete, structural steel erection, rigging and containment are all done by our own people. Where a scope calls for electrical and instrumentation, scaffolding, insulation or painting, we bring those trades in under our contract — so one contractor still owns the schedule and the handoffs.
Welding, pipefitting, civil concrete, structural erection, rigging and containment liners performed by our own people rather than brokered out.
A fabrication shop in Mobile plus field crews, so work moves indoors wherever the schedule allows.
Fabrication and erection under a single contractor, so a fit-up problem does not become a dispute between two.
A five-year average EMR of 0.80 or better and zero recordable incidents over the same period. Registered with ISNetworld, Avetta, PEC and Veriforce.
An ASME R Certificate of Authorization, National Board registration NB 6901, and a quality manual reviewed annually and audited by a third-party Authorized Inspector. ASME U and S certificates held previously, with the new-build work behind them.
