Welding and fabrication under qualified procedures, with the traceability and documentation package a code job has to produce.
At a glance
Every code weld we make is backed by a qualified procedure, a qualified welder, and a paper trail that stands up to an inspector.
Tesecon holds an ASME R Certificate of Authorization for repairs and alterations, and is registered with the National Board as NB 6901. We have also held ASME U and S certificates and built new code vessels and power boilers under them. Welding procedures and welder performance qualifications are maintained to ASME Section IX, with continuity records kept current so no qualification lapses mid-project. Our crews have worked under ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.8 and B31.9, and API 1104.
Work is performed in our Mobile, Alabama shop — 8,000 square feet of fabrication space plus a separate 4,000 square foot clean shop, with three acres of laydown — and in the field, under a written quality program covering material receipt and traceability, in-process inspection, non-destructive examination and documentation turnover. The quality manual is reviewed annually and audited by a third-party Authorized Inspector.
