Tesecon, Inc. operates this website at tesecon.com. This policy explains what the website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website only — not information you give us in the course of a contract or a project.

Information you give us

The contact form on this site asks for your name, your company, your email address, your phone number, details of the project you want to discuss, and any drawings or scope documents you choose to upload. Company and phone number are optional; the rest we need in order to reply.

We use what you send to respond to you and to prepare a quotation. Submissions are emailed to our office and stored in this website’s database so we can refer back to them.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this one records some information without you entering it:

• Google Analytics — pages viewed, time on the page, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site or search that sent you here. We see this in aggregate, not as individual profiles.
• Server logs — our host, WP Engine, keeps standard web server logs including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

• Google Maps — the map on our Contact page. Google may set cookies when that map loads
• Google Fonts — the typefaces are served by Google, so your browser requests them from Google’s servers

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions stay in the website database and in our email for as long as we need them for the enquiry and any work that follows from it. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting on our Google Analytics property.

Your choices

Write to info@tesecon.com if you would like to know what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. We will respond as promptly as we can.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change we will update this page and change the date at the top.
